Privacy policy

Ravlio stores imported audio, video, documents, metadata, thumbnails, playlists, bookmarks, settings, Premium status, free-tier usage counters, playback or reading progress, and size-limited diagnostic logs locally on your device.

Imported files and local diagnostic logs are not uploaded to Ravlio. Ravlio does not provide an account or cloud library.

This website does not use analytics, advertising, tracking scripts, or forms. The hosting provider may set the strictly necessary security cookie `__cf_bm` to protect the website.

The hosting provider may process your IP address, browser or device details, and standard request data in server logs to deliver and protect the website. If you email support, the email providers involved process your message.

The free version uses Google Mobile Ads. Depending on your region and choices, Google may process your IP address to estimate general location, device or advertising identifiers, ads shown and ad interactions, app interactions, device information, performance or crash diagnostics, and consent signals.

Where required, Ravlio shows a consent message before requesting ads. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized according to your choices and applicable rules.

Apple App Store or Google Play processes Premium purchases and restorations, including the store account and payment transaction. Ravlio stores only the entitlement source and status, product identifier, and validation time needed to unlock Premium; it does not receive your full card or bank details.

The system file picker gives Ravlio access only to files you choose to import. Android media-service and notification permissions support background playback controls. Picture in Picture uses platform features when you choose it. Links inside documents open in your browser only after you confirm.

You can decline consent when the choice is shown, manage app permissions in your device settings, delete imported files and local app data, or remove ads by purchasing Premium. Use the controls provided by Google, Apple, or your platform provider for data they process.

Library data, settings, usage counters, and cached Premium status remain on your device until you remove items, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Deleting a library item removes that item and its saved progress. Local diagnostic logs are size-limited and older entries are overwritten.

Device backups and store purchase records may remain under Apple or Google's settings and retention rules.

Google processes advertising and consent data. Apple and Google process store purchases. Hosting and email providers process the limited website and support data described above. These providers act under their own terms and may process data outside your country using their legal transfer mechanisms.

Ravlio is intended for a general audience and is not designed specifically for children. Ravlio does not knowingly ask children to send files or personal content. A parent or guardian can contact support about a privacy concern.

Martin Lindblad is the data controller for processing initiated by Ravlio and is established in Sweden. Privacy contact: bem.lindblad@outlook.com. Google, Apple, and other providers are responsible for their own processing. Because Ravlio's library data stays on your device, you can handle most access and deletion requests directly in the app or device settings.

Contact support to ask about access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability where applicable. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, including the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
